The March 25, 2024 Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon in Libra brought some interesting connections to Canada's Birth Chart. Please take note: Eclipse energies will last anywhere from 3 - 6 months, up to 3.5 years past its event. Let's take a look at these, point by point:
Firstly, that Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse at 05 Libra 07' conjunct the Vertex/Vx in the 7th House of Foreign Affairs; relations with other countries, whether friendly or hostile, political or commercial. National marriage/divorce rate [according to Mundane Astrology via Skyscript] - something Fated/Destined this way comes through other people / countries it seems. With that South Lunar Node nearby, Past unresolved Issues within relationships / partnerships shows itself. Perhaps even legalities brought forward through others.
The Moon itself, in Mundane Astrology, represents the common people, women generally, crowds, and all matters of a common or public nature. The public's attention falling into the realm of what's going on with Canada's relations with other countries. Interesting.
Next up: Venus EXACTLY conjunct Canada's Lunar South Node/Karmic Shadow position at 16 degrees Pisces in the 12th House that can represent prisons, reformatories, criminals, spies, secret enemies of the country at home or abroad. Hospitals, asylums, institutions for those who are weak, infirm, or in need of charity. The welfare state. Possibly secret societies and occult religions.
Venus governs women's issues, national birth rate, social factors connected to marriage and children. Artists, musicians and the arts. Facilities for sport and entertainment. Peace and diplomatic resolutions.
There's an inconjunct connection between this Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon in Libra and Canada's Lunar South Node in Pisces - the need to let go of old patterns of conditioning - and perhaps to reveal the Distortions (through Venus' descending journey as Morning Star, at her Root Chakra Gate at this time) that have created an imbalance away from security, safety and groundedness into instability, fear, basic needs not met. I'd say, yes wholeheartedly!
Is it possible the current federal government thinks of its people as "infirm, in need of charity" in a somewhat skewed, illusion/delusion perception? Pisces rules the fluids of the Earth (water, oil, gas) , and our Spiritual connection to this Earth. The current Carbon Tax war that's been escalating since it came into effect OCT 2019 has brought most Canadians into financial insecurity, especially since 2022. As of April 1, 2024, another $15 has been added on top of the previous $65/tonne to $80/tonne of fossil fuels purchased and used. This has impacted all forms of transportation, supply chains, heating homes, price of groceries, and the impact on small businesses and farms has been huge. Have we had enough yet?
As of SEPT 2021, 27 countries around the world have some type of Carbon Tax levy. And most countries haven't revolted because the governments "gives money back" to each citizen two to three times a year.
The third interesting connection during this Eclipse: Jupiter exactly conjunct Canada's Pluto at 15 degrees Taurus in the 2nd House of national wealth, the exchequer, revenue, and all places and activities concerned with money making, such as banks, the Stock Exchange, financial institutions, money markets and trade.
Jupiter rules the religious and judicial world; the national or state religion, priests, divines. The justice system and prominent judges, barristers. National inquests. The nation's wealth, banks and bankers.
Pluto brings the principle of metamorphosis and regeneration. Modern Astrologers have added garbage/refuse, sewers. All aspects of life that are carried on in the dark or hidden from public view - political undergrounds, espionage, organized crime. Great wealth and power. Violence, rape. All activities that are transformative (i.e. death and rebirth) or that bring hidden information to light (detective work).
Jupiter likes to shine a light into the darkness, while Pluto peels back the covers to find out what's been hidden and now needs to be shown the "light of day". Taurus rules money, values and worth, and the skills/talents we each bring to the table to create income streams. Or rather, used to, more and more. Revenues and income sources are dying. What or whom will bring about a rebirth? We the People?
Uranus was exactly connecting with that Pluto position in Taurus May 22, 2022, leading up to that "full moon effect" from June 30, 2021 onward. We all recall what was happening back then. And still feeling it off and on until April 23, 2023. Uranus brings a general influence over rioting and outbreaks of political tension. Right-wing political ideas, free-market enterprise, fascism, and the urge towards individualism. It rules separation, scientific breakthroughs and discoveries, explosions, anarchy and nihilism. Interesting how the Freedom Convoy of JAN 2022 was already in play leading up to that exact Uranus/Pluto connection. And the Justice influence felt across the country as a result.
The Sun in Aries, opposing the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Libra, activated a close connection to Canada's Sedna sitting at 00 Aries 46' in the 1st House of the country, its inhabitants as a whole; its general condition of prosperity and health, or the reverse. Sedna's been in Taurus since FEB 9, 1968 and is about to head into Gemini June 15, 2024. She spent over 100 years in Aries before that (Confederation was July 1, 1867). Yes, her orbit cycles through the Zodiacal signs in different periods of time.
Sedna, as a Great Year dwarf planet, was discovered in 2003, and represents the traumas we have overcome, bringing about rebirth through respect and becoming conscious of what was unconscious before. Healing from it. The orbit of Sedna takes 11,500 years to move through all 12 signs of the Zodiac. We're seeing her now, in late Taurus - at the 29th degree off and on since July 9, 2021 - Fated / Destined to End/Complete/Release that which is no longer of value/valued or worthwhile (Taurus) and to start speaking our truth.
Coincidentally, the Geological community is debating how to name the current Geological Age (or Time) of Humanity as the Anthropocene Age or Epoch, dating back 11,700 years! This closely corresponds with the last time Sedna was moving through the times we are now undergoing, especially moving into Gemini - all about how we tell our stories. Will they be remade for us to make all our traumas "unconscious" again or will we finally stand up and tell our stories, truthfully, then slowly change them into a new version of how the masculine / feminine connection can be better, less traumatic, less betrayal, more about respect and rebirth?
The Sun represents the Prime Minister, monarch, aristocracy, magistrates, judges and all persons in authority and of distinction. Cabinet ministers and the like. It also represents public heroes and national champions.
Aries brings in the Warrior spirit, the Explorer and Pioneer archetype energies. To take on an Adventure into the Unknown, bringing about change for the individual. What will our collective Inner warriors bring forth, I wonder? The upcoming Total Solar Eclipse in Aries Monday, April 8, 2024 affects ALL of North America. We here in the western Provinces / States will see a Partial Solar Eclipse - yet the energies of Soulful Direction are afoot! What's been occurring in Aries before now will be amplified and accelerated come Monday. And for the next three to six months/3.5 years into the future. Hold onto your hats!
